Hi everyone,
Apologies for the lull in blog posts, but there's been a flurry of activity over the past few weeks and Stanley Halls is now thriving. It been amazing to meet so many new people, and introduce those to the Halls who were new to the building.

South Norwood Arts Festival
People for Portland Road got the South Norwood Arts Festival off to a great start with the Big Fair. The Halls were packed with members of the community of all ages enjoying the stalls, storytelling, craft fair, bouncy castle and ball pool! We had our busiest ever day, so many thanks to all our customers. By all accounts the whole fortnight festival was a great success - congratulations to all involved.

South Norwood Regeneration
There is a £1.65m project to improve the street scene of South Norwood, and after Council consultation sessions earlier in the year draft plans have now been drawn up. They will be available for residents to view and comment on at a drop-in session on Saturday 5th December in Stanley Halls lower hall (entrance on the corner of Cumberlow Ave & South Norwood Hill), from 10am until 2pm. We will then be displaying the plans at Coffee Craft for a month for anyone who cannot attend. Here are a few sample images:
Clocktower Market
The second session of the Clocktower Market will also be taking place on Saturday 5th December from 10am until 3pm, outside the Aldi store by Norwood Junction station. Please get down and support this brilliant project, which we very much hope will become a permanent feature. Congratulations to all the community members who have got it up and running.
It's brilliant to see so much happening in the area thanks to our great community, and are really enjoying meeting more and more of you. We are grateful to all our customers for your continued support, and if you've not visited yet - please come in and say hello!
Best wishes,
