We are happy to announce our next 'Crafternoon Tea' session, which will take place on the evening of Thursday 1st October, from 6:30pm until 8:30pm. Come along to this creative and fun sewing workshop! Bring a couple of items of clothing you’d like to transform, and learn some alteration skills.

This is the perfect class for you if you have any items of clothing which you no longer like or that no longer fit you. The ones that sit in your wardrobe and you think "if only I could change a few details"; like take it in or let it out in a few places, shorten or lengthen it, change the sleeves or shape, etc!

This workshop is not suitable for complete beginners if your project involves using a sewing machine. You will need to have some basic sewing experience and know how to use a sewing machine. If you are a complete beginner you may still attend the class by taking up a project which only involves hand sewing and/or the use of an iron (e.g sewing on beads, sequins, ribbons, trimmings, buttons, hemming and simple tacking).

This class will be taught by Michelle and Jenny who have been sewing for years. Michelle is a trained dressmaker and has spent the last 8 years working in many different theatre wardrobe departments, altering costumes for actors on a daily basis. Jenny also has experience in altering costumes for theatre and has also worked in altering wedding and bridesmaids dresses.

Can I just say what a relief to find someone who actually knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You definitely know how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people need to read this and understand this side of the story. I cant believe youre not more popular because you definitely have the gift.

Hair is one of the most essential features of our looks. The health and appearance of our hair can make a huge difference to our appeal. I think that people should always consider doing something with their hair. Going by the same hairstyle is not really ideal, I mean, just think of all the experiences and opportunities that you are missing out. It is not really hard to try and look good every now and then, you never know what might happen with a little change in your hair.

I am so interested in this kind of blogs. It makes me want to enroll in a sewing workshop. Coffee craft clothing helps us, especially for the women to learn some basic sewing. Plus the workshop adds knowledge in making different kinds of clothes. Craft workshops are done for the people who like to improve their sewing skills. They also expand their shop, you will no longer have a hard time in finding its location. Alternation will be easy for you.
